The law offices of Vicken H. Hagopian is here to assist you with all Workers’ Compensation cases. We represent all types of employees who are injured at work due to an obvious injury such as falling off a ladder and hurt yourself, or, when you slip and fall on water on a slippery surface at work.
But what about those circumstances where no single incident occurs, such as tired hands or cramps in your neck, repeatedly lift things at work and your already bad back gets a little worse, you work around a lot of chemicals and fumes, and overtime you have more and more difficulty breathing.
If your physical or mental health has been affected in any way due to job duties, even just a little, you have rights and you must contact us for a FREE Case Review.
By comparison to a lawsuit for personal injuries, a employers' application for insurance must be resolved by an administrative procedure—not a federal court process. The administrative process puts a cap to the forms of benefits you will receive in the wages of the employees.
A personal injury litigation, for example, may request monetary compensation for pain and suffering, but a claim for wages for workers can not. Workers' demands for insurance can only request different kinds of benefits from job injuries, such as medical benefits, income loss benefits and benefits from vocational retraining.
